...Oh wait, is that not how the song goes?
For most people, Sunday is a day to relax, maybe go to church, watch football, read the paper, spend time with family. For me, Sunday is basically Monday, on steroids.
I start my day by going into work at 6:30 to, uh, put the final touches on my sermon. (Sometimes that means also starting it, but the final touches go on by the time worship starts so that counts). Worship is at 9:30, lasts about 40 minutes, then I spend time with the residents. I usually get home around 11.
After a quick lunch, it's time to doallthethings around the house. If we had a party the day before we have to unload the car and reset up the boutique. There are orders and invoices to catch up on. Usually, new inventory needs pictures taken. I feel like I'm forever behind on house stuff- Christmas is still up (don't judge!). I balanced my checkbook, paid bills, posted in my VIP group and for upcoming parties.
Sometimes Sunday comes to an end and I feel like I made no progress. Today at least I feel like I made a pretty good dent in the never-ending to-do list around here.
I'll leave you with a terrible selfie I took this morning. I wore my new Lipsense color Sheer Berry and went bold with all three layers the same color. I tried to get a good picture to send to Erica to use in her group, but I couldn't get one I liked. Somehow after deleting several attempts, this is the only one left on my phone:
You're welcome.
XOXO, Bethany
